Computer trouble
I got very lucky today. We have been talking about wiping and redoing my computer for a while now because my World of Warcraft hasn't been running so swell and it has been getting errors a lot, and the computer has been spontaneously restarting....so, I burned all of my pictures, music, and word documents (along with some programs) that I wanted to keep onto cds so we would have them to put back on after the wipe. Well, my computer was acting even more crappy last night so we were planning on doing it this morning. I shut my computer down before I went to bed. I came in this morning to check weatherbug to see what the weather would be like today, but when I tried to turn it on, all there was on the screen was black and a message saying that there was an error with windows and that it needed repaired. Well, I lost everything (we might have been able to recover it, but it would have taken a while). So, we actually didn't have to wipe the computer because it was already wiped. Now it is new and fresh, but I'm now having to download every annoying update and program I want on it. Sucks much. We're thinking I had some kind of nasty virus or worm that had done a lot of damage, so I urge everyone of you to keep your virus checker updated and running often so you don't lose all your precious stuff on your computer.
Oh, and it's not fun getting a pt that weighs 400 pounds constantly ringing the call bell for people to come in and scratch her ass....
It was so bad even turning her that we needed at least 3 people and me putting all my weight into pushing her stomach over. It's a good thing the girls on our floor are buff.
